Precious Preschoolers
We spent today at the Africa Renewal Ministries Early Childhood Development Program, where young preschoolers are educated, cared for, and loved upon. Today we focused on health check-ups for the one and two-year olds. About half of them had runny noses, but they were otherwise healthy. These precious children live in the Gaba community (just outside Kampala). They were selected by Africa Renewal to attend this school because they are in great need. We were impressed with the care they receive there, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Just take a look at these faces and you will see why it was hard to leave after spending the day with them.
So fascinating–and adorable. I noticed the English letters on the walls–it would be so cool for our kids to learn an African language in preschool! Blessings to all!
Joline,
I love it!! Such a beautiful bunch: The little one in the front (in the very first photo) has the most amazing robust cheeks! Miss you …

Love It!!!
Bring a couple of those cuties home, would ya?!!
What beautiful, beautiful children. Ever since I worked with little ones in camps in So. Africa, I have felt these little guys are even more beautiful than my very own precious grandkids!
Love, Becky
It makes me so happy to see these precious little ones being cared for so lovingly. So glad you have a part in loving them for Jesus.
What precious children God puts on this earth – yours AND the ones you are visiting! You are all the ears, smiles, hugs, embraces, looks and words of Jesus – God bless the Gash Family:)
When you see these little ones you know in an instant we are all in the same family – HIS!
Cute pictures! Keep up the good work!
What precious faces!!! Praise God for all you are doing over there!! Can’t wait to hear more!!!
I can tell you and Joshua and Jessica and Jennifer are perfectly suited for this ministry. Each opportunity you have, you enter it with trust in the Lord and He supplies just the right actions. I particularly love the picture of Joshua allowing the children to feel of his arm little by little….so precious….so gentle.
